The Annual Cluster meeting was held the first Sunday in February due to scheduling conflicts.

• Covenants
  • Updated in Spring 2024; Discussed distributing the updated.
• Cluster email group
• Cluster chat
  • Discussed creating a voluntary chat for immediate updates on safety matters, tree guys, snow plow info, trash info, party info, “left your lights on”. No action was agreed upon
• Annual financial review. No dues increase.
• Swing set: Last year we agreed to get pricing on replacing the swing set. No Cluster funds are to be used for the swing set. A quote for $13k was secured. We attempted to get commitments of $500 from each member of Brookshire & found about half were able/interested in participating. We now have an anonymous donor that will pay for half of the swing set. Mark will collect donations for the swingset.
• Social: We are committed to providing a calendar of ALL events for 2025. In doing so we all agree that dates might change. However, a calendar will help us prepare. Holidays, Halloween, Memorial Day, 4th of July, whatever! So many ways for us to have fun together. Bring your ideas, our Social Committee is VERY creative!. 
• Landscape: We have more acreage per household than any other Cluster in Reston. It is beautiful & a lot of work. Our Landscape Committee does a tremendous job with our Cluster Clean-up’s. We discussed spring & fall dates for clean-ups.
  • We also discussed ideas on how to make our Cluster more beautiful & welcoming. Painting the curbs/parking spots, cleaning our signage, caring for our lights, optics from Moorings, optics from the pathway, front garden.
• Rules and Bylaws: It was noted that these items are many years out of date. It was agreed to make a committee to review and update the cluster bylaws and rules.
• Board: Mark, Chris, and Jessica were renewed for another year as board members.
